my 5 year journey with reiki

Reiki.

What is Reiki? Reiki is a form of alternative medicine based on the concept of channeling universal life force energy for healing. It is practiced by placing hands lightly on or above the body, with the practitioner acting as a conduit for the energy to flow towards the recipient.

This was what I was taught to say and while it is true… no one really talks about the other side of Reiki. The magic that comes with “Rei” meaning universal/higher power, and “ki” meaning vital life force energy. Reiki is so widely practiced now that you can take all three levels in a single weekend, a process that used to take months, even years to comprehend fully.

My relationship with Reiki began in 2019 when I was searching for teachers and mentors on energy work. I wanted to understand more about energy and how to hone this healing ability that sounded so unreal. I know myself best when it comes to my intuition and while my brain tried to rationalize that this was crazy, my heart knew that there is an undeniable truth that would make sense down the road.

My practice began with The Reiki Sisters. Two Reiki masters, Patti & Ellen that taught me the traditional Usui Reiki system, level 1 & 2. And I went on to become certified Holy Fire®III Reiki Master in 2022 at A Reiki Place with Bryce Goebel. Reiki was a spiritual tool that opened my sensitivities to energy, refined my knowledge on energy healing all while teaching me how to surrender deeply to the universe. I became obsessed with learning about energy. I bought books, took classes and courses,… learned about psychic surgery with scalar energy, to learning muscle testing and communicating or “blending” with my senses in order to look for something outside of myself. To prove to myself that all of this was real.

I believe in a healthy dose of skepticism, but when you start to practice and coincidences turns out to be synchronicities—the language of the universe, you begin to live in disbelief everyday that this is your reality.

You see, the more I dove into energy work, the more I started having “visions.” These visions/premonitions would unfold in the next couple of days, weeks or months as a reality and it would be a shock to my system. The woo woo of spirituality became my playground and as I quietly practiced new tools, the more fulfilled I became. I felt limitless, in my power and quite magical.

Why did I quietly practice these new modalities? Its because these tools were known as taboo in my culture (which I'll address in a separate post). Reiki led me to learning about the Akashic Records with Ashley Wood, mediumship with Colin Bates (powerful medium at Arthur Findlay College, England), and connected me with a beautiful community of like minded people all going through the same journey.

The more I connected with others, the more I realized that we are all just remembering and waking up to our soul.

Reiki isnt just a 2 day weekend course that will get you certified to “serve others.” Reiki is an awakening energy that if connected and allowed, will light up your path and give guidance till the day you transition from this plane.

My 5 year journey with Reiki has been exciting, thrilling, adventurous, spiritually revolting, tested, trialed and much more. The miracles, tears, and connection this frequency has is nothing short of magical. And if allowed, will shift you towards your most favorable timeline. Reiki has taught me how to discern and protect my energies when I need to and strengthen the innate intuitive gifts that have always been inside me. We are living in a time of tumultuous change for a future we’ve only imagined or seen in movies… and I’m sure as hell excited and ready for this unfolding.

For the time being, I feel called to guide whoever that needs assistance.

All of this to say, I want to share something that is out of my comfort zone and am allowing myself to show up with my intuition. I believe it is also time to share my visions, premonitions, knowledge, and channelings with the world.

I woke up one morning with an intense energy surging through my body and crown chakra and in the span of 1 SECOND. I remembered 80% of a lifetime when I was a male energy master living in Asia. I had trained for decades secluded with teachers and masters of the forest/mountains in order to hone the unique ability of the 6 senses and its connections/communications with healing frequencies. As I integrate this information, I'm ready to share parts of my journey, hoping it may help others.

My relationship with Reiki has allowed me to tune inwards and tap into a source that is limitless and that is my soul. So many of us look externally for proof of magic when it has and will always be within us.

My intuition has guided me to start teaching Reiki classes and I cannot WAIT to share everything that I know and MORE.

And who knows, maybe the energy master inside of me will come through. ;)
